Summary

This project focused on replacing an older HVAC system with a 15.2 SEER2-rated unit in a residential property. The homeowner wanted more reliable cooling and heating, as well as improved energy efficiency. The work required careful planning to update both indoor and outdoor components while making the new system easier to maintain.

The Work

Installed a Bosch 15.2 SEER2 air handler on a platform with a new emergency pan and safety switch
Rerouted and protected the lineset and drain line using a slim, light-colored duct
Upgraded the thermostat to a Bosch BCC110 for better efficiency
Mounted the new outdoor unit on a heat pump pad with a disconnect for protection

The Outcome

The home now has a more efficient, safer HVAC system with easier access for future maintenance. The upgraded thermostat offers better temperature control, and the improved setup supports energy savings for the owner.
